Yup, we're moving site so sit on tight. You can find my new site under the blogroll. Anyway, the link's here and if you wish to check out my other site its here. In about a week from now, all of the darkemperors series of blogs on blogger would be deleted save for one. The deleted content could be found on the new wordpress blog. And all of them. Why do I move? Simply for convenience. Wordpress offers better organization for blogging which reduces the burden of having to maintain so many blog at once (what I'm currently doing). The Anime Reviews

Below are the anime reviews that I'll be putting up starting Sunday. Hopefully, you'll get to enjoy my rantings.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2
Plot Summary:
It's been one year since the failure of the Black Rebellion and the supposed death of Zero. Britannia has assigned Area 11 a "correctional education" status, where Elevens are made an example of by brute force, to try to prevent any future uprisings and suppress rebellious thoughts. Unsuspecting high school student Lelouch, oblivious to his rebellious past as Zero, stumbles upon a scheme on his life and the life of a mysterious woman known as C.C., who reveals to him his forgotten purpose and his "true" self. Destroying his assailants and declaring himself Zero once again, Lelouch sets out to finish what he started.

My Thoughts:
The second season of Code Geass has a much larger setting, instead of focusing on the conflict within a nation or a rebellion between a small band of rebels against the world's superpower, R2 boast a larger setting. Larger battles, larger armies, larger explosions etc. R2 also has more variety to it, in part because the writers believe that R1 should be used to allow the audience to understand the protagonist's purpose. Therefore, since that is settled, you could say that R2 should unleash the true potential of this series.

Zero no Tsukaima
Plot Summary:
Zero no Tsukaima follows the adventures of the protagonists Louise and her familiar Saito. Louise is a second year student at the Tristain Academy of Magic. In this world, those who can use magic are either mages or nobles.
Louise is terrible at magic, and can never use it the way she wants to. She is dubbed the nickname "Louise the Zero" by her classmates, due to the inability to use any of the four common magic elements, whereby a mage's power is determined by the number of elements they can use ranging from a single element, one line, to four, square mage. Early in the school year, the second year students summon their familiars; this is considered a special ritual where a mage summons their eternal protector and partner, which usually is some sort of magical creature. Louise manages to summon a human commoner from another planet (Earth) named Saito Hiraga, leaving her totally humiliated. Due to the sacredness of the ritual, Louise is left with no choice but to reluctantly accept Saito as her familiar. She proceeds to treat Saito as any other familiar, maybe worse, making him sleep on a bed of hay and beats him with a whip for little to no reason, among other things.

My Thoughts:
The first season of Zero no Tsukaima will mostly allow you to see the personality of the characters, the story in my opinion, is well developed. It paid quite good attention to character development, though of course, somethings never change. One of it is Louise's treatment of Saito. Louise could best be described as the tsundere type of character. She often whips Saito, it was such a regular occurance that I would really think Saito would turn into a masochist in no time. My plans for this series is to put forward reviews of episodes from all the seasons. So look forward to it. Also, please support us by checking out the ads. If you have any problems, feel free to say it.
